Now that we've established some volumes in black and white, let's add some color to enhance that work. Cold shadows, warm highlights, and just a touch of the powder.

This was a really fun way to approach a model, something different and a technique that will be helpful in the future.

Have a great weekend!

Really cool to see the evolution of the mini! Oh, and I think I like the live commentary while you paint the best. Not sure what’s better/easier/faster for you to do? Talking while painting or narrating afterwards? Cheers!

Thanks Martin! After experimenting with different formats I think this is the way. The live descriptions are the best choice and I'm fine without a script 🙃

Share my innermost thoughts and desires? This sounds dangerous. Can one want to both cover the world in darkness and in light? Shower thoughts. I really love the simplicity of this approach. You achieved a lot with just a greyscale and then a limited palette of warm and cool. I hope you do more like this :D

Haha, we must contemplate ourselves upon the tree of woe. Or the shower will do as a second best, it's a great place to sing after all. Glad you dig it! I had a lot of fun with this approach and will be doing more like it, the concept is fun and there are many ways to spin it. We have a world to paint!
