This time around we're taking a closer look at values and working from a picture for reference. Painting with a limited pallet creates a deeper focus on how you can push volumes and will only serve to improve you work with the full range at your disposal.

I really enjoyed this project, the Black Templars have always struck a chord with me so creating one was satisfying. Also, working from a fixed perspective gave me the chance to hone in on something I don't do very often, the drop shadow. Oh and the addition of chains, always chains for power B)

But good sequels come in pairs, for next week's video we'll be taking a second look at creating the ultimate chromatic warrior.
