Seraph Armaros

The 1st Relic, Ame-no-Habakiri is a sword wielded by Susanou and used to slay Yamata-no-Orochi. The 2nd Relic, Ichaival (spelled Ichi-bal here) is supposed to be a bow wielded by Ullr, a Norse god of archery. In reality, it originated in the game Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, so it's totally made up in real life. The 3rd Relic, Gungnir, was the spear of the Norse god Odin. We've seen three full relics so far. One is Nehushtan, which originates from the Hebrew Bible and was a bronze serpent on a pole that protected the Israelites from fiery serpents God had sent to punish them. Here its own fiery serpents are represented by the whips, and its protective power is represented by it being an armor that regenerates. The second Full relic is Durandal, which is the sword of Charlemagne's paladin Roland, said to be the sharpest sword in all existence. The third is Solomon's Cane, which what Chris and Fine use to summon and control the Noise.

Thank you! I wanted to search these up myself but was afraid to run into any spoiler during my search, so I was waiting for an explanation like this about all of their relics and their origins!! It's really interesting that they are pulling from multiple mythologies and folklore' so I'm looking forward to seeing which other mythos they are going to tap into in the future and how they are going to create their songs around them. As all of them have been so unique so far, I want to see how they can balance the blend of mixing future folklore and symphogear together as they have so far! And from their definitions they have been living up to their names! Especially Gungnir!
