I guess you could say that Studio Orange SNAILED it! Eh? Jokes aside, this episode is GORGEOUS. When people complain that CGI Anime is always bad, I show them this episode's clip of Dia vs the giant Snail, or Dia running, or even Cinnabar stalking Dia in the tall grass at night. It's so beautifully composited and executed that it blows my breath away every time I watch it. What really strikes me is how well the double-speak is done on Cinnabar's part. There's a point, when she's talking about Phos to Dia, that you can just tell she isn't talking about Phos anymore - she's talking about HERSELF. She feels useless, weak, unable to fit in, cast aside, lonely. It breaks my heart.

LOOL, Now that was a good pun! From the moment I knew Studio Orange did HnK I knew I was going to be in for a treat and they are not letting me down whatsoever! So many moment I can call back to and just watch purely for how beautiful it is and how they are able to convey emotion just through the setting itself. And honestly, Cinnabar, Dia & Phos are for sure my favourite characters as of right now! I'm love how Cinnabar's feeling are on full display but she also understands her condition as well, which only further breaks my heart :'( I really do hope they find a method to contain her ability so she can be alongside the others :'( my heart
