Despite being in the far flung future, Mardi Gras exists in their space station. Like many things the history behind the matter is spotty to say the least. While most enjoy it for the ability to party without care and for the aesthetic that it provides it was originally started as a way to help people come to terms with and feel a bit of pride in the new bodies they were given due to the 'Incident'.

After all, colorful, sparse outfits, dancing, and sexually charged everything is a real good way to get people to stop moping about the fact they have a new massive rack. Especially when there's these cute pasties you can put on too and get a whole bunch of compliments and lets not even start on how the music makes people want to move. Its funny, they had to RE-INVENT the steel drum. Crazy.

Anyway. I'm testing out the new Tablet I got with a new art program. Certainly not what I'm used to at all, but my process seems to work about as well as to be expected. I tried painting here, but kind of liked this underpainting, mostly lineless style I ended out with. Since I didn't know how to render this I just kept it as is.

Honestly, I really do just like what I have here. Its crazy to think on how much my ability to draw has improved just in general. Its... Just crazy to me. Ya'know?
