Dear god I feel like I've come up for air after years underwater!

I really appreciate all the people still active and interested in my work, it's really heartening to know I can come back to this stuff months later and my playerbase isn't dead. So, wha happun?

Well, the basic gist of it is that working on HAA just keeps frying me. Avery's bugs, the older code, not remembering some old engine quirks, and by god trying to wrangle my adhd long enough to convert and cut webms for scenes...

So Syrup Town (that's the game's name now, I can't believe I missed that one piece already had syrup village) and AI stuff ended up becoming my escape! I kept working on that, feeling bad that I wasn't focusing on what I was supposed to, escaping into more writing for other things, good grief... I'd end up with days of really incredible progress but all you guys would hear from me is radio silence, sorry!

But since today's my birthday, you'll forgive me, right? It's not the tradition, but this year I got you guys something!

I've updated the syrup gallery and I've been investigating webps as an alternative to PNG files, lemme know if it works for you:

https://noodlejacuzzi.neocities.org/syrup-gallery/

The game is coming along well but beforeeeee that~!

Hentai university content by Cryptogreek is ready for you to play! These are shorter form characters, it's been a long time since you've played some of their stuff, huh? Just head on home to get started posting flyers for hypnotic therapy.

By the way, for those of you still confused about the blueberry boi I mentioned last time, he's set to only appear at the end of Dan's stuff after you corrupt him!

So, expect a release this month, but if you'd like to test it early play it on the public test release here:  https://noodlejacuzzi.neocities.org/hentai-university/1ptr/or here:  https://noodlejacuzzi.neocities.org/hentai-university/1ptr/mobile.html

These are test releases, so lemme know if something's broken! I was using HU as a testing ground for some syrup CSS and I think I fixed everything but just in case don't hesitate to call!

Okay, so here's what I've done! A lot of my work is really iterating and improving on old work. I spend time making LoRa models to make better, more consistent art, and then use what I've learned to make better LoRas and so on and so on. AI art is a crazy deep rabbit hole, I've been down there for months and I've spent longer on all this than I did my bachelor's degree. I thought I'd take a moment to reflect on what I've gained for my time and why it draws me in so much.

There is an absolute ton of things to cover!

- Syrup Town (700+ finished and polished images)

Starting out a lot of my time went towards trying to figure out what works and what doesn't. Inside the code for syrup gallery is a prompt generation system I've already used to generate more than a few tens of thousands of images. I've created profiles for the characters I use in game:

(Player's in the top right. Nearly every character is bottomless so arranging this image was way harder than you might think)

I've built dozens of position and scene layouts:

Put each of these through their paces until everything gives me consistent and good results (those made it into v1 of the gallery) With those done I assembled these onto the gallery and used the best of them to build improved LoRa models, now I'm on v4 and hopefully the improvement is noticeable!

With images individually looking good I realized consistency was key, so I began learning how to master inpainting to make full scene layouts where the images don't lose key details between scenes.

(... It probably would work better uncensored but oh well)

I then took a hacksaw to modify a1111's code directly so I could automate inpainting on a large scale:

I've collected pieces used for scenebuilding and learned tricks to get what I want when I want it:

(can't really show a bunch of anuses on this post sorry here's a collage of hands and buttplugs instead)

I dusted off the old art tablet and while I have a condition that makes it tough to draw I learned how to do just enough that the AI can carry the majority of the workload:

(I actually have a pretty bad injury so being able to draw again without hurting myself on the fine details was amazing!)

I made emotion sheets so the characters can be more expressive in dialogue:

I made variants of characters of characters of different outfits:

(there's a ton more of these in the gallery but most are pretty nsfw and I'd have to make this a patron-only post T.T)

I have over 700 CGs I'm pretty satisfied with, but tbh I could definitely still improve my automation and scenebuilding. Also over 200 profile images for the game's cast. Granted a few CGs have some errors I've missed but those are my fault, not the AI's, and I think that the errors are way less noticable than the kind you get with a lot of AI art. If you happen to notice something on the gallery shoot me a holler!

Before all I could really hope for is to keep throwing things at the wall until something stuck, basically making concrpt art concept art. I couldn't replicate things like a specific helmet I liked if I tried. Every shot of a space marine character will look like they're from a different genre.

But now I can usually think "I need a scene like this" and get a full suite of images!

These sequences are inspired hentai university (alone, prodding, insertion, thrusting, ejaculation, aftermath), manually adding in details, and cleaning up for consistency between shots. I can replicate characters consistently and my full assembly of poses goes from oral from the side, oral from above, male character masturbation while sitting, standing, or even autofootjob/autofellatio, I even have some pov recieving and female protagonist stuff!:

(uncensored versions in the syrup gallery, though these two are more proof of concept than anything)

Could a female protagonist be viable? I've never tried it before.

- Other Syrup Town Work

The above was the core of my work, but there's a lot of other areas I spent my time to make Syrup Town better, which will also improve future games a lot too.

I made a full suite of location images (all up on the gallery), picked the best ones and got a fully working navigation system:

Currently the game uses filters for the time of day (but I plan to go back and add time/season variants to the locations). I built the game's CSS to get that pastel style and dramatically improved my CSS skills even more!

I've got a title screen animation, I got music and sound effects working and learned how to crossfade them (just royalty free music tho), it's almost like I'm making a game or something!

I also learned how to get text AI models working, I was planning on using them to help me work whenever I get stuck, but I realized I can automate this too to basically shotgun blast out ideas:

It could all be garbage but looking at garbage at least gives me ideas, more than writer's block.

Beyond that I've already written a lot, a lot, a lot of content for some of the characters already so they'll be plenty fleshed out and maybe you'll enjoy chatting with them?

- What's Next?

Despite all my syrupy ramblings my main goal is to finish this update of Human Alteration App, then do an update of Hentai University. You guys have been really patient! Thank you all for sticking around for so long. Getting everything running on HAA has been tough, but I hope to have everything playable soon.

My new years resolutions are to release every month and to have a consistent sleep schedule again instead of getting lost in the sauce so often. I hope I'll succeed at both~!

After that next major goal is to make v5 of my Syuro LoRa, and replace a bunch of the bad images I used before with the much better ones I've created. While the model is really doing some incredible work a few characters could be a lot more consistent. Bluebell the Shopkeep's hair never manages to actually be blue by default, no matter how insistent I am Angelica's sweater always has long sleeves, and there ate some concepts that are just impossible for me right now, like urethral play and nipple rings.

Plus the purple cat boy keeps having the spots of a character named Bob from animal crossing (I may need to rename him...)

And even further beyond I want to expand what's possible. v5 of my LoRa would improve consistency but beyond that my major goals are to find a way to do

* Collaborative fellatio, buttjobs, more stuff with two people.

* Urethral play/sounding and other more off the wall scene ideas.

* Consistently get accessories like chastity cages or plugs.

* Entire scenes on white backgrounds so I can change scene locations/polish images more easily.

* Maybe, big maybe, animated stuff?

- But what about non-syrup stuff?

Even if you aren't vibing with Syrup Town's direction a lot of this work can extend to improving my other games. In the next year my main goal is to release more regularly, but aside from that I have a few other overarching goals as well. Here's what I've got on my shortlist:

- Uncensor Hentai University

The amount of dicks I've collected could put plus my automation of image to image generation means that I could theoretically use the syuro model to uncensor Hentai University at a waaaay higher quality than my patch for Todoroki.

Don't get me wrong though it would still be a massive amount of effort. I'd need to:

* Collect higher resolution image sets than the ones I've already hoarded

* Redo all the image customization and stuff I did for certain scenes. Oreteki sets for example often have double penetration scenes that I turn into just anal/just vaginal.

* Ideally I'd like to find a way to blend in the uncensored stuff with the artist's natural artstyle. This will probably mean making other artist style LoRas.

- Apply this new stuff to Argent Science

Working with the FluffyRock model and the Syuro LoRa has made me realize where my goals should be with Argent Science. I went into planning for that game assuming that cinsistency between image sets would be impossible, and had a workflow where each image generation had about a 10% success rate. With the syuro lora I have an about 60-90% success rate at making something that looks nearly perfect right out of the gate.

- Make Bitch Medicenter 2

Medicenter and Anomaly are really hard for me to write since the nature of the games returning to the status quo at the end means I'm left frustrated and out of ideas, but while the text AI automation stuff can't write entire scenes for me, it can at least give me the jumpstart or bridge text I need to stop myself from getting stuck when trying to write.

- More customization in HAA

Alexis and Avery just feel kinda weak when their traits are just lines of text, I really wanna expand and just go absolutely nuts with what's possible.

Okay, that's everything! Well, mostly, but those are the things I feel confident I could do this year. Thank you all very much for reading! 2023 was kinda rough all things considered, my main PC's hard drives completely failed and started corrupting files, all that time with my head buried in the sand working on stuff other than HAA, and on top of that... Bills...

But for all the time I spent I think I gained a lot in exchange. I'll be getting back to work now, I'd appreciate a bit of birthday well-wishing if you have the time, but beyond that I'm happy you're all still around. I hope I'll impress you this year!

Did I skip something? Is Syrup Town a new html game? Can't find it, is it out yet? Anyway, good job there

noodlejacuzzi

Hiya! No, you didn't skip anything. Syrup town isn't done yet, if you click that syrup town link it brings you to a concept art gallery and explanation for the game.

Danny Donven

I can't get back to theo

Danny Donven

How do I do the fliers?

noodlejacuzzi

Hiya! Sorry for the slow response. The fliers should just appear in your house in the morning, that's what crypto says. If you're playing online I noticed Neocities does some weird things with cached data, and I had to delete my cache to make the option appear. Whatever browser you use there should be instructions on the internet, but do be sure to back up your save first.
