rat rat rat rat rat rat (Patreon)

So I have these rats I draw a lot. You might have seen them! One month I did a comic about them on Patreon, and I'm pretty sure there's one in my current YouTube header image.

Since starting this Patreon, doing Pen Pal drawings every month has largely replaced keeping a sketchbook (I've done over 1000 Pen Pal drawings by this point)- and in these drawings there's a few characters that keep reappearing- including these rats!

Note that it's ratS plural- while these characters have been appearing in lots of different random drawings and scenarios, and haven't been made for any specific story, I've still made up my mind that whatever they're doing it's not one individual rodent, but a whole bunch of them, working together on little projects.

Anyway, I think it's about time I used them in a film! What film, I haven't exactly decided yet. I DO have a story I thought up involving them, where I got out of bed one night and wrote the whole thing in 20 minutes. But I like how the same characters have been popping up in different scenarios in my drawings, and so they can pop up in different unrelated films as well.

Regardless of the story they're in, scampering and squeaking will always be relevant, so I've started with that, and we'll go from there!
