Hello you lovely friends!!!!

First off, thank you all so much for your patience!

It's been a slow start to the year in terms of updates because firstly, we've been moving home, and secondly, my current film project requires me to make a bunch of random 3D objects (donks)- and I reached an impasse in the film where before I can animate any more scenes, I need to make more donks!

So, here is a roundup of this month's Donks, wrapped up in a little animation test! This infinite tower is not part of the film, I just wanted to practice animating with them.
(The first generation of Donks can be seen here.)

My usual films involve a lot more drawing things as I go, which is slow, but also means there's a steady stream of new animated things to show you. Techniques that involve building puppets in advance, be it in 2D, 3D or stop motion, take a lot more preparation. But the tradeoff should hopefully be that once the assets are all made, the actual animating can be done quite quickly!
We're getting quite near that stage now, and I'm very excited for you to see all these Donks finally come to life!

“Sorry, this video does not exist.” 🥺

Oh no! That seems to be happening lately with Vimeo embeds, even though Vimeo is supposedly the preferred video hosting platform for Patreon. Are you viewing this on a browser or through the Patreon mobile app? And does the direct link at the bottom of the post work? ( https://vimeo.com/670471103/bc3317bd32 ) Hope that works, sorry for the hassle! Patreon is supposedly working on their own internal video hosting, so hopefully that'll be integrated a bit smoother
