Headcanons Because I Missed These Goofballs: (Patreon)

These last two months have been difficult with real life distractions and my immune system going on strike, so I haven't been able to focus on Glenwood as much as I wish I could. These stories mean so much to me and getting to share them with you all is such an honor, so here are some fun facts (do they count as head canons from me? Probably not) about the world and characters we've been discovering together 💛

- Beth has taught Seer the basics of how to sew, but they ask her to patch their clothes anyway because they like watching her work.

- Knight and Evie like to watch the colors in the sky change right before sunrise. She doesn’t miss the sun as much as she thought she would, but these moments mean the world to her.

- Liza has the bottle of wine that Sugar got her in a very special glass cabinet so she can see it whenever she goes in her kitchen. She doesn’t plan on opening it.

- After regaining their memories, Ranger took a two week long trip to go back home and reconnect with old friends and family. Despite nurturing the relationships that had faded, they still wanted to come back to Glenwood. Claire texted them frequently to check in and they responded every time.

- Soon after coming home, they sat down with Diane and told her a vague version of what happened. She’s already settled on hand quilting them a blanket for Christmas.

- Diane is loosely based off of my own Great-Grandmother who passed away recently after Glenwood started. She was as sharp as a razor and had a passion for quilting and needlework. I was gifted her sewing kit when I moved away in November.

- Claire keeps old photographs of the Pack tucked away in a box in her office.

- Despite not discussing this yet, Knight has already made the decision that they’ll be turned into a Vampire to stay with Genevieve. They try to ignore the lingering guilt of this choice.

- Chloe has been working on a book full of pressed flowers and other plants that Dewdrop has studied while working at Glenwood’s park.

- Ranger has yet to discover that Claire smokes.

- Ro has been practicing their sewing skills so that they can one day help Beth with her Shifter-Friendly clothing line.

- Tristan wants to leave Glenwood and study child development at a Wielder-based university so that he can one day join the Bureau run foster program that helps identify and re-home shifter children.

- Zaraiah is hard of hearing and often uses sign language when in large groups. Her hearing is only improved slightly when shifted, but this difference in her senses has made her absolutely unmatched as a scent-tracker.

- Celine doesn’t remember her exact birthday, but likes to think of the Winter Solstice as the closest thing after all these years.

- She also despises the idea of Leap Years, it makes absolutely no sense to her and the Court needs to remind her whenever relevant.

- Ronnie used to work at a well renowned restaurant on weekdays as a line cook and then had his own food truck with his buddies on the weekends. The food truck food was better.

- Isla is convinced that when she finally shifts, she’ll be able to talk to animals. Alan and Hazel still don’t now how to break it to her.

- Abby has been saving for years to travel to Scotland and recently has adjusted that trip to accommodate two more people.

- The Fall Festival was such a success that people are asking if there’s a possibility for a Summer one, in addition to the Pet and Park event.

- Valera doesn’t really celebrate the holidays, but she sends Valentine’s Day cards/gifts to just about everyone she knows. She has to travel to several post offices to break up the workload.

- Even if no one is watching TV, there is always one of those 7 Hour Fireplace videos playing in the background. Same thing with Celine’s records playing at the Estate.
