Process: Old Batman Animated-Style Commission (Patreon)

Pencil and inked versions. As the pencils took longer and longer I added more characters and details, making things take even longer.  

Q: Why pencil in the black sky? A: Because that's how compulsion works. 

Observation: Clayface is a rip to draw. What a fantastic character design. 

Trivia: For a short while it looked like Sarah were going to get an assignment to write an episode of the Batman Animated series. The Creeper episode was dangled. I would have liked to have seen that happen. We did get a Batman Beyond script, which was fun, if a bit difficult to do because not much was established on that show -- there was no real series bible or great overall course direction. But we got to write Ace, some wrestling moves, some monster transformations -- and a horror angle in a dream sequence which tied Man-Bat into the backstory (unfortunately, cut for time). We were asked to write more Beyond scripts but couldn't fit them into our schedule because the Eltingville Club pilot had been offered to us.
