 It's WossaRem's B-day, and their two gals, Aeria and Wossy are enjoying a nice night as couch potatoes, while actual human potato Abby earns her spot on the couch as Wossy's footrest! Its a perfect setup, really.

The Rant:

this one was both simpler and more complicated than normal. Simple in that there didn't really need to be a complicated reason how/why Abby ended up like that. Wossy and Aer are a sex and bondage positive couple that loves to engage in mock-distress antics; it makes sense that they'd have fun with Abby in that way. On a technical level, its two girls on a couch using the 3rd as a footrest. Not super complicated.

The thing about doing AbbyBirthdays with OC couples is slotting Abby in a way that feels organic, without either making her an unwanted 3rd wheel, or supplanting one of the other girls in the relationship. This gets harder the more "official" the couple is. Imagine spending your date night with your significant other AND ALSO a "friend" who isn't your significant other. Kinda weird yeah? Also, the more consentual and/or personable the OCs are, the harder it is to believe they'd be hardcore "mean" to Abby in a way that doesn't strain suspension of disbelief. I think this is a nice compromise that plays on what we already know about Woss (playful dominant), Aeria (publicly grumbly, privately submissively sub) and Abby (spunky unlucky short potato).

On a technical level, I don't think I really nailed the perspective, specifically the foreshortening of Woss's legs as she rests her feet on Abby's cranium and posterior. A lot of that is just how much of Abby's head obscures Wossy's legs. I could have drawn through them, but I trusted that it wouldn't be that big of a deal and so ran with it. Hopefully no one minds.

Also, backgrounds! yay! I wasn't sure at first how to go, but then I remembered that I'd purchased some comics that depict Wossy/Aer's flat, and used those as reference (I personally recommend #2 and #3, where Wossa really finds their stride as a storyteller)! Yay! Luckily the angle I picked is very sparce in detail, so not too much for me to do. *whew!
