Filament Stories Mini Spools

My good friends at Filament Stories needed a little token to give away at all the various printery festivals and gathering, and so this tiny spool was born!  It's a four-part print: a bolt screws into one side, the filament screws on, and then the final side attaches after that. Now, it turns out people liked these little spools, so I figured I'd release them to the wild!

As well as the original Filament Stories branded sides there is a blank model that you can customise (or just leave mysteriously unadorned).

You'll find this one at at 572 Filament Stories Mini Spools

Hex Appeal Weave Tiles

Some updates to the Hex Appeal Caddy!  Firstly, a new tile with a weave pattern that was requested (and heartily seconded) in the comments.  This is based on a traditional Japanese weave pattern, and it worked quite nicely on hexagonal tiles.

There is a small catch, though!  These need to print at 45 degrees, leaning right over!  It was either that or smooth out all the overhangs, but that would dramatically reduce the appeal.  Anyway, the tiles print pretty well on that angle, so it's not actually much of a problem.

Multimaterial and single material versions of the tiles are provided!

Hex Appeal Magnetic Lid

There's now a lid!

Conveniently, the lid is able to use embedded magnets to match up with the magnets already in the main body, meaning that not only is the lid held in place, but is kept oriented so that the patterns line up!

You'll find these under the existing folder 579 Hex Appeal Caddy

I love these, anyone know where one can find a compatible 3D printer STL which these could fit on.

Love these mini spools, great for making samples of single color filament.
