Skulls and dice, together at last!  Okay, so maybe skulls are an eternally popular partner to dice.  In fact, the first dice were made from tiny skulls!  Okay, I made that up.  Regardless, now there's a convenient way to store dice in skulls thanks to the King Skull Case!

The King Skull case (it could be a Queen Skull, too - I looked up crown traditions and a spiky one like that can really go either direction) features a hollow skull with a crown that screws onto the top to keep things safe.  The crown itself is a two-piece print, with a  skull top that screws into the crown body.

Now, if you want to store a single set of seven polyhedral dice in this you can scale it down a bit.  I found that 80% held a set nicely, though you could go a bit smaller if you wanted it to be a tighter fit.  The model itself will scale down easily enough - I went as small as 50% and it all worked just fine (though it was far too small for a set of dice!)

 Print Description

Each part of this model is a regular-mode print and designed for straightforward printing.  The tolerances between the parts that thread together are quite generous, so it should be pretty resilient in the face of minor printing issues!

Infill isn't a big factor in this print, except to hold up the top layers on the skull top.  You can safely go pretty low with infill on this one.

Print Dimensions

The main King Skull Case body occupies 77mm x 71mm on the print bed and is 58mm tall, but can be scaled.

Supports needed?

No supports required!  All the angles involved are nice and friendly.

Scalability

King Skull scales quite easily!  I've scaled it down to 50% without problems, and it'll scale up quite a bit before the thread connectors start to get too loose, too.

Print Orientation

All parts print right-way-up, like so:

Further Thoughts

Dice and skulls, what more could anyone want, right? :)

Happy printing, and may your rolls be lucky!

I love your pots so much!! They're resin friendly and cool as heck. I'd love a version of the Tiny Skull Pot that has a bigger blank label on it for writing contents in Sharpie pen. Keep up the amazing work - my fave Patreon by a mile
