Funfair Vase

The Funfair Vase is purely an excuse to print in eight different filaments, and I haven't yet printed it myself!  A few people asked for a test model for eight filaments, however, so here we are!

When my suitable multimaterial hardware makes its way through the perils of international shipping and local flooding I'll be able to give it a try.  In the meantime, it's there for anyone who wants to give it a go!   Of course, you could print it in fewer filaments - even in just one, if you really wanted to but I'm not sure how exciting that would be.

This is a multimaterial model, so it's not one you could print in individual sections and stick together.  It's meant for printers that can print with multiple filaments simultaneously (e.g. Prusa MMU and Mosaic Palette).

To my eye this vase looks like big slabs of plasticine jammed together :)

Segmented Atom Case

I like special requests, and try to get to the ones I can!  This version of the Atom Case is one of those, and is a very wide version (just short of 300mm) divided into seven compartments.  It prints in place as usual, and uses the threaded ring approach for secure closure.

Snowflake Cup

On the journey to the Correlation Vase some intermediate models came and went.  Usually those just disappear completely, but I didn't have the heart to cast this one completely aside!  It shares some common design features, like the bevelled stoppers at the bottoms of the insert slots that keep the inserts from falling through, but it's not really the same kind of design other than that.

What makes it a polar opposite to the Correlation Vase is that while that vase intentionally creates a contrast between the inserts and the main body this vase maintains continuity of those angled ridges across the insert and out the other side!

Underseat Airtag Bracket

Ah, Airtags! This is a simple bracket for attaching an Airtag to the underside of a bicycle seat using zip ties.  It's a ring-shaped thing that includes notches for crossed zip ties to secure the Airtag in place, and two side slots for using zip ties to attach each side to the rails under the seat - or to anything else, really!  The bracket is sized to standard seat rails but you could of course use it anywhere that suits zip ties.

I'm not sure how weatherproof Airtags are, but if you're actually putting them under a seat you might want to cover them in something waterproof. And less bright.  And maybe don't print the bracket in bright blue like I have, here :)

One design feature to note is that the side slots for the zip ties are oriented so that they're as strong as possible with respect to the layer lines.

Last minute addition: Separate bolt for the Planetary Phone Stand!

Another one I haven't printed myself!  By request, there's now a separate bolt for the Planetary Phone Stand, in case the inbuilt one has broken off due to overenthusiastic tightening of plastic parts!  You'll find it in a folder underneath the phone stand, cryptically named "Separate Bolt".

You'll notice that this bolt has a larger handle area and sits outside the side plane, instead of flush with it, since it isn't constrained in the way that a print-in-place bolt is.  This should make it easier to use, overall!
