Howdy, wonderful people! :)

Yep, it's another take on the Vault Box!  This time the whole thing is one assembled design - the cog-driven locking lid is hinged to the body, and the whole thing prints in place!  And upside-down!

Now, this is certainly slightly crazier than the Vault Box, and it's certainly a much bigger and longer print, but I think the original Vault Box is probably more practical.  But that one isn't strictly fully print-in-place! 🤣

Funny thin, though - I said "original" as though the Vault Box came before this, but that's not actually the case.  This one was the primary design, and the Vault Box was an offshoot along the way.  Interesting how these things go, really!

So, if you want a crazy, huge, filament- and time-intensive print, here it is!

I have to say, opening and closing the lid is really quite satisfying :)

I think I might need to take Cathy's suggestion, though, and make a safe-style handle that can be added for convenience and extra coolness...

This model is on dropbox under Colossus Vault - have fun!

+1 for a safe-style handle. and a 🙏 for a lockable Version ;)

Safe-style handle is test printing now! Locking that's more sophisticated than pins jamming in slots will take longer... 🤣

Howdy! There is a post called something like "Dropbox link here" that's linked off my Patreon main page. That post has the link you need to download everything 👍

So I printed this a couple weeks ago and I was just sitting here looking at it and noticed the hex key slot you have in there and thought about my idea earlier and was thinking on models big enough you could use the same size slot and just make the handle work for all the models to test if everything is free or break free.

I built this but didn't have any luck.
