I feel like this novel has a VERY planned rapid power progression, and this makes it difficult for me as a reader to have feelings at this point in time. You have made it obvious that the real point of this story is NOT his path to power, though you incidentally are including it in story, but rather what he does with the power once he truly grasps it. Tbh.... im not entirely sure what he is gonna do with it. There are theoretical paths to him becoming entirely waaaaaay too powerful, but none of those paths lead to a meaningfully self directed life. How he chooses to NOT do what the world wants from him will define this story. Looking forward to it 😁
