I had a feeling something like this was coming but poor 808!! I hope Peppermint can fix her back up! At least in time for Chai's funeral. I still naively think with each page that things can't get any worse... and then I hear evil cackling in the distance. I look back at my comments about Chai being traumatized from getting his eye gouged out and past Angel had no idea what was coming. Not sure if it was intentional or not but the sfx when he gets his player (and ribcage) obliterated looks a bit like the logo in the opening cutscene! On the plus side, he won't be conscious when he inevitably breaks the rest of his bones on this fall. I don't think Chai is going to like heights much after this. Sorry for the late comment again, it takes me an embarrassingly long time to write these to be honest. Been too busy with work to write something immediately when I see the page, and then notepad sits open for a few hours while I try to condense my thoughts. But I adore M(h)A and want to show my appreciation with a comment each time, so thanks for being patient!

I always try to design the SFX uniquely to fit the scene. I've never done so many types in a comic before actually. The 'crack' sfx looking a bit like the game's title here is not intentional but given that the title screen crack is from that surgery machine mashing down on Chai in a similar way to V1-RS's claw hitting him in the exact same place I don't mind the coincidental comparison. Also don't worry about late comments. I've seen how many people submitted their WIPS for the zine this weekend and figured you'd be up to your ears in work as it is. I appreciate it very much that you still took time out of your day to write a comment on my page regardless. Thank you!
