Well that just cut Chai's time from hours to minutes. idk if that’s enough damage to make him lose his leg later. It might be. But what do I know! I’m no doctor!

But at least he’s not that flammable thanks to still being pretty soggy from his swim from earlier. That robot graveyard at the bottom on the other hand…

Also. I am, too, not a doctor. However, I can say that a puncture wound like that might not result in amputation. The closest example would be an arrow injury (pointed end sans the hooked edges) and with the assistance of the thing being on fire, I’d theorize the wound has already been cauterized. Most injuries like that result in the need for physical therapy, but I don’t think things have been severed past the point of no return. However, this is your story, so if Chai losing more limbs makes you happy, I’m also delighted. :D

This page is fantastic! You always manage to keep me on my toes, I never know what to expect, and the fact that I comment that every page you upload just proves the point. Your expressions are very good here too, I have difficulty portraying characters in pain this intense but it fits here! I already went into the medical stuff so I won't repeat it, but the detail of Chai's stabbed leg not trembling while his uninjured one is is a nice touch.

Would I be happy that Chai could do a slightly too convincing cosplay of Long John Silver? Not particularly. I just genuinely didn't know if this damaged his leg beyond repair. Maybe they can pull a Korsica and make his leg work fine with external robotics so he can skip the whole 'years of physical therapy' bit.
