V1-RS really likes to aim for the eyes, eesh! It feels like everytime things reach the lowest point for them, things manage to get even worse! And I highly doubt Chai has received the last dose of lifelong trauma for the night. Still another 20 or so pages to damage his psyche even further! Dude's gonna have nightmares for life. (Maybe I'll draw that! Would be cute to see 808 waking him up from one, like how my cat wakes me up for breakfast by pulling on my hair.) You weren't joking when you said you would put him through the most intense circumstances to make the (potential) victory all the more satisfying. I can't think of a way where he's getting out of this that doesn't include a deus ex machina, but that doesn't fit your storytelling at all. So excited for next week's page!!

Reached the lowest point? I can assure you I have quite the shovel at my disposal. It’s a little less than 30 pages to the end from here. I haven’t sketched them all yet and I keep changing my compositions. But we are very close to the finale! Week after next, in fact... So indeed, plenty of time for more “But it did get worse.” I’d love to see that idea though! The mental image of 808 waking Chai up from a nightmare by pulling on his hair is a mixture of both funny and a little sad.
