Last couple of pages we have been in danger of losing the tension we have been building. There must be... some way to get it back.

Oh, I know!

Skinwalkers.

The scariest (and my favorite) part of the comic, right on time for Spooktober! Impeccable timing, if I do say so myself!

One of the best parts of the game is the audience chanting "Chai! Chai! Chai!" whenever you get S rank. Clearly, our rockstar loves the idea of people chanting his name... Sure would be a shame if that got ruined for him forever.

Originally it was 808 who heard something was off. But then I realized; who's the sound guy out of the group? Chai is! It's not a stretch that he would be able to tell the difference between fake voices and the real thing. Like how you can tell which family member is coming up the stairs from the vibrations of their walk or if the car driving down your street belongs to your parents' based on the sound of the engine. Chai simply has that ability turned up to eleven thanks to his music player.
The whole blood loss thing is starting to become a bit of an issue though. Chai's definitely not up for another chase. Time for a new strategy: hide!

Hope you guys aren't claustrophobic for this next bit.

Man, I am loving this so far!

goddd damn i love the way you use textboxes. the ever increasing distortion, the colors fading as that thing gives up on the charade, getting more impatient as it gets closer.....you're so good at building tension it's absolutely crazy!!!! love the decision you made to make chai the one to realize something's up, makes perfect sense, especially as someone who sucks at recognizing people by faces and i function like purely by voice recognition. some people have certain, subtle lilts to their voice that just kinda make them Them. also..some very cute 808s...lil guy just wanted the two of them to be safe

Having this crazy monster robot for a villain gives me a lot of creative freedom to play with every aspect of visual storytelling. I really enjoy it and it's great you guys are too! And Chai using his brain in a way that fits his character is also fun to write. Thank you so much!
