0.2.10.1: Uploaded a bugfix for softlock after using Dispel.

This is a small update which adds the new backroom animation with Hero and Caspian.

The full blown chapter 3 update is still in progress. I realize it is taking a long time however I am working on many aspects of the game simultaneously not just to finish the next chapter but to try to prepare for the final release. I hope this animation will tide you over until more content is ready. For this build I've added a temporary secret shortcut in the back alley to view the animation or you can unlock it from the smuggler's cavern.

Changelog:

  • Added Caspian's quest in the smuggler's cavern which unlocks the new backroom animation and will eventually unlock travel to the next zone
  • Added Caspian and Reef to the smuggler's cavern
  • Updated some graphics for smuggler's cavern
  • Changed battle camera to use dynamic group framing

  • Enabled health bars for enemies, more work to be done soon
  • Made monsters slightly more aggressive
  • Experience is now granted when a monster dies, instead of at the end of battle.

  • Fixed more UI layout issues for different screen aspects

  • Fixed bow special attacks not extracting MP cost
  • Fixed text bug when enemy fails to cast while silenced
  • Fixed a bug with Dispel not working on some status buffs
  • Fixed duplicated slimeform skills
  • Fixed and improved floating platforming checks
  • Fixed player control being enabled in character creation
  • Fixed positioning of character shadows and slime trail
  • Fixed inconsistency of inputs required for opening and closing menus
  • Fixed an issue where the first warlock scene could be duplicated

Note: I include Mac and Linux versions but I cannot test or offer technical support for these versions or even confirm whether or not they still work.

Keyboard & Mouse Controls:

  • Left click to break items
  • Right click to interact
  • A,D or Arrow keys to move left and right
  • Space for Jump
  • Left Shift for Special Action(ie "Crouching" used with monster forms)
  • Left Ctrl for Dash
  • Q for character screen (Class, Equipment)
  • V for transform Menu
  • E for item quick menu (outside battle)
  • ESC for game options menu
  • F4 Skip scene, can skip through dialogue and scenes (It's a little buggy)

Controller can be used but it might be a little buggy right now (The selection cursor may disappear, use the mouse to select something again) See the input tab when you run the game for more options

Note: Not sure if it's been reported before, but it's possible to run the first Aqueduct mission and not ever transform into a Slime if you take out all of the enemies. This breaks the continuity when Ash's master and the hero talk the day after.

finally an update!! I'm back to support now, I had to pause cause it was too quiet for a long time and I was getting worried. Glad the dev didn't ditch like my other supported projects >_>... BTW, will there ever be a Colton questline? or he's just only viewable in animation viewer?
