Patch Notes and Release Date for 2.0! (Patreon)

Hello Everyone!

We hope the art preview has helped whet your appetite for the next big thing: the last story update for Paradise Inc.! Luciana and I have been writing and editing, and we're ready to commit to a release date.

Update 2.0 will be available to $5+ backers on Monday, August 7th!

Update 2.0 completes the epilogue for Paradise, and brings with it the final closing of the story.  This will either be the last update or the penultimate update ('one before last') to the game, depending on a few things -- so stay tuned for more news regarding that in the future!

Our goal with this update was consequences, both good and bad! Throughout your adventure in Paradise, you've made choices:  what you look like, who you interact with, what desires you grant, whether to be loyal or whether to betray. In this final act, we take all of this into account as much as we possibly can, and show you the outcome of your decisions. Your ending will vary depending on who you transformed, who you romanced, what characters you might have paired up, and (of course!) the choices you made at the climatic finale.

We hope this help puts a cap on your time with the game, and feels like a proper conclusion!

We'll be seeing you in a week's time for the backer build release, following by the public release on August 21st.

Patch Notes: 2.0

An End For Every Beginning

- The final story update! Join your main character months down the road as they enjoy the world they've come to build!

- Damien Bull, Jolie Masked, and Xavier Vampire's date storylines have all been slightly altered to make it clear the MC is not an option, and their 'waiting for resolution' text now hints heavily at which character they can duo with.

- The final set of achievements are now possible:  Gal Pal, Boy Toy, Package Smuggler, S is the Best, and All About the D.

- Breakfast In Bed:  Wake up in the arms of your lover or (for those players who lean more toward a harem than monogamy) wake up the midst of your many lovers!

- A lunch meeting: Players who stabilized Lazren's Portal or impressed Avery with their financial prowess can visit their chosen patron for a bit of 'personal attention' in the day!  Did we mention there's achievements for these?

- A party to remember! Enjoy a celebration of everything you've accomplished. Drop it on your favorite couples to see how they're doing, or just get an eyeful of the hijinks your employees get up to!

- Fixed an issue that could cause red errors during Damien Bull's early dates.
