Update 1.7.0 - Poll Time! (Patreon)

Hola Everyone!

It's finally that time! Update 1.7.0 is our first New Content Expansion, which means introducing something new to the game world. Avery is still a little ways away and we need a few more souls around before we're ready to advance, which means 1.7.0 will introduce an entirely new character for your hunting pleasure!

We've brainstormed four options below that we think might rev your engines. You may vote for as many as you like, but only one will be introduced in this update. The poll will be open until Sunday, November 22nd at Midnight Eastern Time. We'll tabulate the results with the appropriate weighting for Patron levels, and announce on Monday evening.

Without further ado, I present you your new possible targets!

Nadia, The Professional Gambler - A woman who lives for the thrill of a high stakes game, she's been visiting your Casino each and every day. The thrill, however, is gone. She knows she's the best, and there's no table stakes that can faze her...until yours. Your service against hers. If you win, she becomes yours to set out as a 'complimentary treat' in your VIP room. If she wins, you'll welcome her into a world of desire she's never imagined, where souls themselves get put in the pot. She'll be a demon, like you...and with you at her feet, whenever she wants you. Will you take the bet?

Transformation: Options split between a public use plaything in your casino, or creating a new succubus with some influence over you.

George Rivers, The Master Thief - George Rivers has stolen everything that has caught his eye since he was 15. Now he's trying to solve the mystery of your bank. It should be a simple matter to create a focus that will catch his eye and lure him in, but he’ll find more than cash at the end of his heist. You’ll help his career either way, but what will you have him steal? Will you help him fit into small spaces as an adorable, flying pixie? Or will you make him a living shadow, able to appear anywhere the light isn’t?

Transformation: Female Pixie (Small, flying fairy with assorted mischievous powers) or an almost bestial shadow creature that no locked door can keep out...

Sara, The Blackjack Dealer - Most of your Casino employees aren’t real, but even the tower could tell that Sara was special. She’s been in the background all her life, dealing cards and mopping up drinks, but she longs to do something grander. She wants to give the world wonders it has never seen. You could give her the tools to do that... for a price. Will you open her eyes to the reality of magic and its workings, allowing her to take center stage as a magician whose show is more than just sleight of hand? Or perhaps imbue her very nature with wonder, transforming her into a mystical Kitsune whose every smile can change a person's fate... for good, or for ill? The choice is yours.

Transformation: Zatanna-esque stage magician with actual magic abilities, or a cunning and crafty fox spirit who bewitches at a glance.

Melissa and Malory, The Twins - These two twin sisters could not be more different. Melissa has found a job at the bank, working as a teller. She arrives precisely on time every morning, and likes to keep things tidy. Malory spends most of her nights in your Casino or down in Inferno, dancing the night away with any chemical assistance she can find. The sisters aren’t talking to one another right now, but you’re sure you can get them to put aside their sibling rivalry. Which soulgem will it be? Is it time for Melissa to let down her hair, entice someone to buy her a drink, and rule the dance floor with her sister? Or is it time for Malory to learn that sometimes it’s nice to let others take the lead, and show them what a good girl she can be?

Transformation: Aligning the twins into either a set of partying mean girls, or some subby, straight-laced lovers.
