So, out of last month's art requests from the $20 tier (as seen in yesterday's Exclusive Post for the Biggest Spenders) , one of the suggestions was worked up into a fairly complicated illustration that I decided to spin off into its own Patreon post for the $3+ tiers. The art req involved the characters I created for my 1997 DC one-shot Titans: Scissors, Paper, Stone:

...but in Venomized form, as I was working on a new Venom short story last month. Here's the rough sketch, initially worked up in Clip Studio Paint on the iPad:

...then transferred over to the PC, where I inked it via the ol' Wacom Cintiq:

Alarmingly enough, I found that the Wacom stylus began triggering a drawing-hand ailment (a pressure issue with my middle fingertip, specifically) after only an hour and a half of work, which is a worrying development indeed.

This morning, I slapped on some tones to vaguely approximate the original cover's background colors (by my Kubert School classmate Joe Rosas, BTW):

...and the added some text:

I tried out some white highlights on the figures, but didn't care much for the results:

Wellp, 'twas an interesting effort, but my drawing-hand issues with the Wacom stylus bode ill indeed for the future; good thing I'll mainly be writing and drawing layouts this month, as I'm working up a difficult one-shot freelance comic script as well as hoping to crank out the roughs for the first chapter of the writing-only project codenamed Unidentified Fantasy Offering during March. Yay?

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: No idea, TBH, but something should be coming up in the next M/W/F slot. Let's find out together, shall we?

Oh man, Adam now I feel bad because I should've specified just one of the Titans. I never thought you'd draw ALL FOUR. This is amazing, but I feel like I don't have the words to properly convey gratitude for what you put into this. Thank you.
