LIFE DRAWINGS FROM PHOTOREFERENCE #196: From 2019, more sets drawn in Clip Studio Paint! (Patreon)

From my 2019 era of early experimentation in iPad art apps, here's a pair of digital sketch sets drawn in Clip Studio Paint.

As seen by that Roxy Rocket sketch, I hadn't yet developed my modern-era fondness for (and skill with) CSP's Design Pencil brush. Indeed, as seen below, I was mainly using the Rough Pencil brush to simulate my beloved (analog) graphite:

Both sets are pretty ragged, TBH, but that's to be expected with such early experimentation. (A tad discouraging that I haven't progressed all that far in the four years since, though.)

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: No idea, TBH, but something should be coming up in the next M/W/F slot. Let's find out together, shall we?

UPDATE: Ehh, not sure what the heck is going up next, as many options abound. Could be the unusually spicy illo I'm working up for The Chaste and The Chained, or the text piece re: Bubblegum Crisis I just finished (complete with a shocking-to-me epiphany about BGC: Grand Mal),  or a sneak preview of the writing & roughs gig I recently worked on, or maybe even the first set of suh-weet character designs that an interested artist worked up for my original fantasy-RPG comic pitch from 6-8 years ago (predating anything you've seen here). Let's find out Wednesday, shall we?
