LIFE DRAWINGS FROM PHOTOREFERENCE #181: A 2019 Procreate sketch set featuring ol' Hopper! (Patreon)

From the 2019 era of digital experimentation in the iPad art app Procreate, here's a set of sketches based on ol' Jim Hopper from season 2 (I think?) of Stranger Things. Note that I was playing around with some different, charcoal-ish brushes on the left-side close-ups:

...while the right-side sketches were down with the "Medium Hard Airbrush" tool, my preferred brush for loose(r) sketches in Procreate, despite the mushy and obviously "airbrush-y" look this gives the finished art.

Just occurred to me that I can prrrrrobably reopen this old file in Procreate and generate an MP4 time-lapse video of the work process, though even if that's possible I'd have to put that up as its own separate, video-based post. So, you might see this piece once again down the road!

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Ehh, I'm likely rolling with every-weekday posts to finish off the month of April, even though I've moved away from that end-of-month barrage due to a shrinking buffer of available content.
