VINTAGE CON SKETCHES: S'more BUBBLEGUM from the days of yore! (Patreon)

Wellp, at least two of these Bubblegum Crisis-derived commissions should be new to (most of) you, though the last few were prrrrrobably posted here before, albeit potentially years ago.

First off, Priss sporting "THAT leather jacket," which was of course photoreferenced from a friend's jacket in pics taken during, I think, the summer of '96:

Priss is also sporting the extremely stylized facial structure that my evolving art style had come to favor; soon enough, however, I'd wind up ditching this angular style (and nasal structure) for an increasingly different approach circa 2001-03.

Next up, Nene with a katana, presumably for a very specific request:

And there's that hyperstylized facial approach once more. Golly! Also, points off for an incorrect katana grip, as proper positioning of the support hand would place it down at the bottom of the tsuka (haft) for maximum leverage. Then again, A) Nene wouldn't necessarily know the proper grip, and B) visual reference for such minutiae was just a tad harder to dig up speedily in those bygone days of technological yore.

Next up is a piece depicting Vision in idol singer costume from the original BGC (OAV) episode 7:

This image was already in the old CON SKETCHES hard-drive folder, suggesting that it was probably posted here some time ago in an earlier Vintage Con Sketches post but, ehh, screw it, here 'tis again.

And on that tip, next to the Vision jpeg in that folder was this Nene(-chan!) piece, which I'm just about as sure was already posted here some time ago:

..which is undated, oddly enough; however, judging by the nostril depiction and the more rounded facial line, this piece might well have been done circa 2007 or 2008, well into my changeover to a rather different form of artistic stylization. Golly, once more!
