UPDATE: An aforementioned Designs Ahoy post about a new comic project was supposed to go up on Friday morning, but as I'm still working on that post as of late Thursday night while a heavy snowstorm hits the area, I'm scheduling this Life Drawings set for Friday just in case my power gets knocked out. If you're seeing this post on the 20th, then I'm sitting in the dark and the cold whilst muttering sourly.

UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: The power didn't go out (yet), thankfully enough! Yay!

Wellp, the time has finally arrived for single-set posts of life drawings from random photoreference, as my once seemingly endless supply of sets from near-daily work in 2017 has dwindled down to a sadly diminished number.

In fact, as of this post, only 8 images are left in the ol' folder, meaning that in a few months I'll have to switch over to more recent digital-art sets; after those are used up, not sure what the heck I'm gonna do for this feature.

Anyhoo, this particular set features plenty of written commentary, so this time around I'll let the sketch page itself do all the blithering. Note the reference to me flying out to San Diego Comic-Con in the summer of 2017; ah, those halcyon days of con-attending yore!

Below, enjoy the higher-res, raw and untweaked grayscale scan as a TIF attachment. (BTW, that's a TIF—or TIFF, if you prefer—rather than a PSD because now my up-to-date version of Photoshop can't show me a thumbnail image preview of a PSD, thanks to some charming interaction between Photoshop and Windows 10.)

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: I'm assembling January's Life Drawing posts all at once early on in the month, so I have no idea what's coming up in our next M/W/F slot as yet. Let's find out together, shall we?

The three quickposes ones look pretty good. That first top left is a hell of a pose.
