Time for a hasty desperation post, dearest Patrons, as struggling to make deadline on the Harley Quinn short story I'm writing, penciling and—here's the problem—inking is currently kicking my butt.

Wellp, along those lines, here are the final inks and colors on that Wolverine vs. Man-Thing story I also wrote, penciled and inked for October's Marvel anthology title Crypt of Shadows #1. I believe I'd previously shown Work Stages here for the first few pages, but here are all of the dang things, along with the fine colors by Guru eFX's Lee Duhig, who also colored 2019's Venom: The End short story for me.

While I didn't especially enjoy inking this short story, the subject matter and setting must've suited me nicely, at least compared to the grinding ordeal that this Harley Quinn story is proving to be. I really, really wish I'd gotten that g-d digital workflow squared away before working on both these stories, as penciling and inking full-size comic pages in analog media is clearly a nonviable dead end for me as a creator. (Then again, I already knew that; in fact, I learned that 22 years ago, after the long-ago ordeal of Dirty Pair: Run from the Future showed me that conventional comics production was beyond my artistic means.)

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: No idea at present (he typed with gritted teeth), but something will be going up in the Wednesday slot, folks.

Hey, you could always try going back to brush inking and see if that's any easier 😀
