As the end of July and the monthly exodus of 20 to 30-odd Patrons looms, thought I'd put up a quick list of content I'm contemplating for August. Yay?

*I'll definitely be showing more Work Stages on that Wolverine/ Man-Thing story (for the Marvel anthology Crypt of Shadows) I'm hoping to finish inking today.

*Look for further Work Stages on that truly hellish, cyberpunky AF Harley Quinn variant cover that took me an alarming chunk of June to complete. 

*A shocking new development: In a somewhat desperate attempt to kickstart my grindingly slow progress in learning Clip Studio Paint via Cintiq input, I've decided to bite the bullet and just start doing some new comic-format story pages of Hushed-Half-Elf and/or Rose & Lily. I'm nowhere near ready to do finished comic pages for the eventual "real" comic pitch The Last Party, so perhaps I can teach myself Cintiq CSP by screwing around with Distressed Damsels comic pages that will (probably) never see print.

Note that the R&L material will see our perpetually distressed SF heroines struggling in a fantasy RPG environment as further Last Party prep. That content will initially be going out as Distressed Damsels posts for the $5+ Patron tiers, but may end up being a higher-tier dealie down the road.

*The book-market solicitation info and cover art for Empowered vol.12 should--I say, should--be going up soon, so I'll likely post that here first before the solicitation "goes live," as it were.

*Failed-Project Friday will return later in the month for a one-off post featuring artwork from a late-90s DC Vertigo pitch(!) that I am very, very glad was not accepted. (Didn't get around to scanning the proposal art in July, alas.)

*Concluding serialization of my 2004-era layouts and Work Stages for the Unnamed Robot Comic's final issue will kick off as well.

*Vintage Con Sketches should be represented at some point in August.

*Of course, your monthly doses of Life Drawings will continue as usual.

*Also as usual, stand by for an Exclusive Monthly Bonus Post for the Biggest Spenders at the end of the month, as well as the solicitation of new art requests from the $10 tier for the first time in quite a while.

*I also have several text pieces that should go up at some point during the summer, but August's already looking pretty crowded. (Hrmmm.)

Anyhoo, that's what I've got in mind, though other material will likely be popping up. (For one thing, I'd like to do another D&D character pin-up for my niece's birthday, if I can find a day off to work on it.)
