NOW COMMENCING EVERY-WEEKDAY POSTING TO FINISH OFF THE MONTH OF MAY!

Courtesy of a generous friend from back in the day, here are more scans of some loose sketch sets of Dirty Pair's Yu-- nay, Lily in distress drawn between comic pages at some point in the 90s, judging by the costumes and chara designs. (My friend was a serious "Lily in distress" fan, so you can likely expect to see more such sets along these lines.)

These loosely sketched sets were all "double-page spreads" of sorts, as I drew each on the back of an 11" X 17" photocopy of a full-size comic page. Alas, on at least two of these sets, I was drawing Lily images right in the center of the spread where the photocopy had been folded in half, hence the wonkiness when I tried to merge the scans.

The first two tape-based sets were supposed to be based on the unseen supervillainess Shasti taking Lily captive once again, though the former was only represented by word balloons which I deleted from the scans, as in retrospect I found her dialogue to be sketchy as hell. (Even without the looming threat of Patreon Trust and Safety, I wouldn't feel comfortable posting that particular content.)

The final set was based on an odd conceit My Generous Friend wanted explored in more detail, as it's a reference to the scene in 1995's Dirty Pair: Fatal But Not Serious in which Bad Y**i trusses up Good Y**i with interface cord, which might well set a record for the least viable restraint medium imaginable:

(Thankfully, My Generous Friend didn't insist on rigorous or realistic depiction of restraint types.)

However, note that this is Yu--nay, Lily wearing the later costume from my final few Dirty Pair projects, as this was commissioned sometime in the late 90s.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Time for s'more Failed-Project Friday wackiness, I'd say!

Dunno. Tying up a Supergirl-level superchica with Hot Wheels track in your Gen 13 days seems a tad more unrealistic.

True, but in all fairness to 1997 Me, that scene WAS taking place within the context of a goofy-ass movie.

I'm not sure interface cord is that nonviable; telephone cord has been used in multiple kidnappings, and interface cord probably has relatively similar characteristics.
