Once again, I'm doubling up with this week's sets of life drawings from random photoref. First above is a shading-oriented collection from November 2017 (with that first figure at left a definite highlight), along with a sketchier, more gesture-focused set from May 2017.

Note that we've (rather a while ago) crossed an important threshold with these Monday posts—both sketch sets are dated from 2017, meaning that the end of my once-formidable buffer of life drawings is in sight, if still rather a long ways off, as I cranked out life drawings almost daily through that year. So, folks, I might need to switch to single-set posts at some point later on in 2021 or early 2022. Gasp!

Below, enjoy the higher-res, raw and untweaked grayscale scans as PSD attachments.

NEXT TIME ON THIS HERE PATREON: Who knows what might go up next? At the moment, not even me, thanks to the semi-randomized "M/W/F+" posting schedule! Golly!

That first pose on the left is wonderfully dramatic! Looks like something struck during a stage play

Completely agree! I also think the pencil strokes really add a nice flair to the movement.

The first page has really strong 'lighting effects' look to it, like it was shot in high-contrast bright stoplights or something.
