Procreate sketch set of EMPOWERED’s “F**king Oyuki-chan” (Patreon)

Per an art request from the $5 and $10 tiers, here’s a set of sketches of Empowered’s floridly profane ninja “F**king Oyuki-chan,” drawn in the art app Procreate as part of my ongoing effort to familiarize myself with working digitally. Most of the images are based on photoreference to work in a li’l life drawing, though the face at lower right is based on a manga artist’s work. (You’ll likely see more of this over time, as I’m often imitating the work of mangaka and anime chara designers in sketches, as part of an ongoing attempt to broaden the ol’ artistic horizons.)

As with yesterday’s image of My Hero Academia cosplay, eventually I’ll post a time-lapse video of this sketch set on Instagram, which is something I (frustratingly) can’t seem to do directly here. When that happens, I’ll add an IG link to this post and save it with a “notify Patrons” alert, in case you wanna see a fast-forwarded version of my work process.
