June's art request for the $5 & $10 tiers; also, exclusive content approaching! (Patreon)
Content
Not many days left in June, so it's high time to solicit some art requests from you fine folks in the two higher Patreon tiers! So, yeahp, as before, feel free to suggest any characters or intellectual properties (including my own!) that you'd like to see me tackle in the month's waning days!
Also, I"m happy to announce that the $5 and $10 tiers will finally* be getting access to exclusive weekly content starting in July. Huzzah! For the next few months at least, this material will mostly consist of comics and sketches with an, ahem, "damsel in distress" (or "DiD") orientation, as Lord knows I have plenty of that content that very few have seen.
As I've mentioned in interviews before, I've done commissioned DiD work aplenty for a number of helpful friends and patrons during various points in my career when mainstream work's been hard to find—which, to be honest, has been the case during most of my so-called comics career, including the present day. (Ouch.)
Not sure that many (or possibly any) of y'all are actually into the distressed damselhood as such, but I do hope that you'll be able to appreciate the artwork, at least. For the record, the material I'll post here won't be edgier than anything published in Empowered; in fact, many of the posts will be unpublished Emp comics and developmental sketches. You'll also see brand-new material from Hushed Half-Elf, the kinda-sorta joke "fantasy DiD" premise I've been using to test out new art techniques while delivering content to a few patrons. And down the line, you'll also see some comics and illos featuring a certain familiar pair of damsels (ahem), which is material that I can assure you is likely to remain Patreon-exclusive for the indefinite future.
But hey, in the meantime, feel free to suggest some art subjects, won't you?
*Alas, "finally" proved to be too late, today, as at least two folks deleted their $5 pledges this very morning. I'm almost tempted to message 'em to ask what Patreon content might've changed their minds, but such a move strikes me as just a tad too intrusive. Oh, well.
