Patreon preview: My very first page from EMPOWERED vol.12! (Patreon)

So, yeah: Behold, dear Patrons, my very first completed page from Empowered vol.12, the next installment in the series after this fall's upcoming vol.11! No worries about spoilers, either, as this opening sequence (from a story I'd estimate to be roughly halfway through vol.12) is, in fact, a flashback to a brief scene in the old one-shot Empowered: The Wench with a Million Sighs, as seen below:

(Note, howeva, that I draw Emp with markedly different figure proportions nowadays.)

Now, a question which absolutely no one ever asked is, "Why did a minion-y rando happen to be carrying a drug-soaked rag perfect for subduing Emp?" This story will address that seemingly superfluous issue, while tying it in (pun unintended!) to a much broader and more critical decision that Emp will soon face.   

And now, the panel roughs for the page, drawn on separate sheets of paper so I could work out elements outside the panel borders:
