Here is something from my latest collection of Science Fiction short stories which (as the footnote says) arose out of the first collection published some years ago.  We went with another image, but the image attached prompted Erin to ask and me to imagine what this was about.  You might consider this story as a bit of a tease.  What was the motive of the aliens?  Is it contagious?  I am always looking for feedback ...
