I am actually working on another piece set in British India modelled a little of the Kipling short story "The Man who would be King" and I was checking up on British regiments based in India at the time and story of the highly travelled "Royal Americans" came up.  Erin had talked about a story of two soldiers "straightened out" by feminization, and setting that story in this time clearly required a shaman.
