Yes, the bone thing was in the manga. It was insane back then and it's insane right now! Also I agree! The anime is definitely made for binging.

1066 was directed by Henry Thurlow, a key animator at toei. It was his director's debut. Last week in his podcast he talked about, how he brought tons of international animators onboard for this episode. I really like his style.

Love the pebble scene because it showed that law threw each out in distinct spots so that he could use them to switch mid fight, Henry said it was the hardest scene to storyboard, 53:19 you see him pick up that first pebble
