Wapol might actually be Oda's greatest foreshadowing, or rather Drum Island Arc is. There's this crazy theory that Drum Arc is a symbolic parallel of One Piece. Luffy selflessly climbed the mountain like Fisher Tiger climbed the Red Line. Kureha and Imu are both occupying empty thrones, extorting others for money, and allegedly unnaturally old and knowledgeable. Chopper and Luffy ate Human-Human fruits. Chopper and Luffy's fathers fought to heal the system. Drum was attacked by Blackbeard, resembling Rocks D. Xebec. The government was made by 20 founding kings who fled their nations, Drum had 20 doctors left who also fled. Dalton might be Garp or Koby. What did Wapol try to awaken? His ancient cannon weapon. If this theory is correct, Wapol may have something to do with either a parallel of Imu's predecessor, or maybe Joy Boy or the Donquixote. Just like Doflamingo, Wapol is written as a corrupt selfish Noble king-pirate who lost a nation, came back, and lost to the future Pirate-King.

Yamato is a girl. She took on the persona of Oden(who she idolized) and stated she was a man(you can see she has been doing this from a very young age). Thus, even Kaido is calling her his son because of this.

Yamato himself went and bathed with the boys, was confused by Nami's request to take a bath since there was no mixed bathing. Clearly Yamato sees himself as a man.

Could the Yellow Sun on Chapter 470 be the Ancient Infinite Energy source that Vegapunk is trying to reproduce? You can see people using it to make their army of Robot people. And Vegapunk is currently doing the same with the Pacifista's and Seraphims.

Partly true. Yamato see him/herself as Oden and thus views him/herself as a man through that because Oden was a man. If Oden would have been a woman then Yamato would have called him/herself a woman. It is not so much about the gender as it is about the person being idolized. I did write him/herself through out my reply though because I do know it can be a touchy subject but I still believe there is a different nuance to it than gender identification. With that said though, still don't think it was okay for Yamato to introduce him/herself to Momo as his father. No matter how you want to identify yourself I think doing something like that is going a bit too far. Still love Yamato though, great character but I am not fully happy with the discussion around the character as it seems to me like it is showcasing a problem in validation and seeming need for representation for people when a character that has enough traits of one thing gets boxed into the whole of it without taking the whole picture into account. Then again, may just be what people notice the most, as viewing Romeo and Juliet as a story of true love instead of taking finer details into account. There is nothing wrong with that though, unless you force your view onto others, which is more okay with a story like Romeo and Juliet whereas gender identification is a more personal and touchy subject. I am however rambling. A story in general is a personal thing though, no matter what an author or people on the internet may claim. What you personally get out of it and view it as is what is true to you and you should be allowed to have it be personal to you. How you want to view the story of Yamato and wether it is about gender or something else is up to you. Most important thing is you get something out of it and hopefully enjoy it. I have rambled about my view on this debate and you of course do not have to share in my view but I started sharing it all the same. If there is anything I would like to sway if possible then it is that I want people to be allowed to enjoy the story and see it their own way as long as they do not try to force it on others. Guide people to cool details is one thing and is of course more than okay in my eyes though, but in terms of everything I do prefer people to be civil and in cases such as this to know that a differing of opinion does not mean that people in real life aren't being accepted and respected. It can be tough to be yourself, especially if it goes against what is seen as the norm of things, so if you can be yourself, open and truthful about it then you should know you are awesome and doing something quite admirable. Of course, with this being the internet and with some people acting rather dumb no matter where they come from or which group they are viewed to belong to I just want to express that nothing justifies attacking or willfully hurting people who have done nothing to you. Just don't like people hiding behind excuses to be mean online, but again, that is just vocal people on the internet and does not reflect the majority of people in any group. May just have been around the wrong circles for a bit and have taken it a bit too close, at least enough to ramble on like this. Sorry about that. If anyone actually reads the poorly worded wall I have written then do have a wondrous.
