The one thing about being an Emperor that I think Oda put in and Kid in story doesn't understand because he's a sociopath, all emperor's have political power. They stand as nation states for political purposes. Whitebeard had his fleet alliance and island that flew his banner for protection. Same with all the others including Luffy even before being named the "Fifth" Emperor. Luffy has a fleet and a half dozen islands that would probably go to war for him. And Buggy technically has a full blown criminal syndicate under him, so take that as you will. Kid to this point however, has not shown an iota of such support or alliance other then the one that fucked him over. Emperor's need sphere's of influence to be emperor's it seems

Yeah, I do not see any way for Kidd to come out of this one without at the very least a massive ass whooping. And I really do kind of love the Davy Back fight idea, a way for Luffy and Shanks and their crews to compete on friendly terms... plus you know one of the events would be a marksmanship contest between Ussopp and Yassop.

i like how 3 things he said were literally disproven or talked about the page after. For example, saying Dr.Vegapunk was a traitor, the helmet looked like broggy's, and that Shanks took kid's arm. 2 of those which turned out to be false lmao.

my guess is, that non of the VP is the imposter but Punk records is the imposter. Egghead is related to an AI movie, and what happens in every movie that has an AI? the AI is gonna surpass his creator and is trying to kill it. if Punk records is the imposter, than all would make sense. PR is literally an Server that is connected to literallry every technical device on egghead and could probably controll it. All TPs upload their memories to PR once a day and download each other's memories at the same time, but what if PR can control which memories are downloaded and thus prevent anyone from knowing about it. PR can control the sea monsters that attacked the CP units, it can disable frontier domes without being in the control room

Geo_AW on twitter made an interassting take on shanks xD he said that shanks did nothing while kaido destroyed wano over all this years, but after kid, law and luffy beat Kadio and BM he made a move to get the one piece? it looks like shanks waited for someone who beat these two because he know that he hadnt a chance against these. and now he isnt even trying to find the road poneglyphs, he steals it from them who have allrady 3 so he must only find the last one. i mean, he got a point LUL

(this is just a discussion for sake of discussion) i think a better way of thinking about it is the exact way it was explained in the story. if any emperor fought the others would capitalize on the weakened winner. lets say shanks is the strongest of the original 4 debatable heavily but lets say just for the sake of argument. this raid only even worked cleanly because of a few niche things otamas power which we can say shanks probably doesnt get access too. all of the samurai joining which without momo is tougher and kaido wouldnt be as lax as he was with luffy. so now you have an all out war shanks brings his friends and crew. now we said shanks was stronger so he wins the 1v1 but its tough they are tired. big mom/BB/whitebeard all now can look towards shanks territory and attack. now he has to fight a second emperor at least or the government. the government would still have the warlords and since it hasnt been abolished yet the 3 admirals are also available since they arnt yet around the world cleaning up the mess. thats a tough fight. now he has to do it TWICE right and the second time they will be more ready for him. i wouldnt say he was waiting cus he didnt have a chance but that a lot of things made it significantly easier. blackbeards been an emperor for 2 years and in the last week or 2 has invaded all over the place due to the mayham created. everyones on the move and everyone was waiting for an opening that the old world order didnt allow. exactly as was explained back when they first described the 3 power system. shanks also seems to have some weird thing with luffy so thats probably involved too but this argument is just in the powerscale argument of why wait. not to say it wasnt convenient that kidd brought him all the poneglyphs of course. if anything this really shows the powers at work. even if Luffy lost BB could have time to raid bigmoms territory while she was gone regardless. it was a massive risk for her to even come here win or lose. now imagine she was there fighting kaido. win or lose she goes back and what immediately challenges BB. shes screwed for at least a short time and BB has the poneglyph and pudding until shes able to maybe counter attack in an all out war weakened. this is just to show that any yanko has this major issue. luffy doesnt have much of a territory yet but now imagine big moms not involved he just beats kaido. Big mom is still after him she can now attack fishman island or wano she knows luffy is associated with those. so luffy cant progress hes constantly gotta ward her off till he beats her. not a battle a multi area war where both sides will lose allies. im still typing cus its late and im sick and bored but theirs a lot that gets ignored because of how much was lost here. 2 yanko at once. while the government was busy.
