LOL finally second reactor that noticed what Mikasa says! She tells Eren to please go home! Eren either went off alone and then Armin or Mikasa convinced the survey corps to chase him with a plan OR Armin or Hange made a plant to infiltrate and Eren went against the plan also if you notice what Jean says, he tells Floch that the plan is to avoid killing as many innocent civilians as possible and well Eren killed a bunch which is why Mikasa tells Eren what he has done while crying 😭 I cant wait to see what the freaking plan is!

With the concern of it ending up like Lost (which is fair because it has that similar mystery box appeal that Abrams loves to use), I'd say the biggest difference is that in Lost, the writers very clearly did not have the complete story in mind from the start and were somewhat making it up as they went along. I guess that's partly the trouble with not knowing how many seasons you'll get. With AOT, apparently Isayama had pretty much the entire story planned out before it started which is why, once the puzzle pieces started coming together in late season 3 (with some fairly major hints earlier on as well that make way more sense in context), it creates a very satisfying big picture that makes sense.

Great reaction as always man, I agree with you the CGI looks jarring when compared to the hand drawn animation, but these poor guys in Mappa are on the limit of what could be slavery doing this anime. btw, I don't like Dailymotion, I don't know if its just my internet, but I always struggle with dailymotion the videos just keep stopping regardless of the resolution and fps.

Not exactly true. Lost was meant for 4 seasons with a much smaller scale story that paid off in a much more concise way but as with anything that profitable greed took over and then they started making stuff up. So they did have an end point but it got torpedoed. Stuff J J coulda left the project if he felt his creativity was being stifled so he’s complicit as well.

Looked badass to me. Eren’s Titan looks ten times better. CGI is about the same as it’s always been for this show. They just never used it for any of the non Colossal sized titans. I am giving Mappa some leeway though as u suggested so I’m sure that’s clouding my judgement a bit.
