it's kinda funny that you think hxh pacing is amazing bc it's my biggest issue, i think the pacing is bad, for now i think it's still enjoyable but after episode +70 i thought it was so boring, i dont know if i'm the only one feeling this way...

Yeah, he's a fake member, it literally said so in the subtitles "Hisoka has been masquerading as a member of the Phantom Troupe" but you missed it...

It's probably the minority opinion, but certainly not a uncommon one. Personally, I loved the CA and only felt the pacing a couple times (a couple times in the second act). My main complaint was the Palm stuff.

To be more clear about Hisoka and Tha Phantom Troope. He is a member in the eyes of the Troupe, but he is just there because they are his "target" as he said in this episode, but when he met Gon he found something new to play with.

I dunno, I felt like you do about Jojo for the longest time, but I definitely prefer HxH after having finished it... Togashi's simply a better writer than Araki.

One of my only gripes with this show (besides how slow it started) was that Nen shows up on TV screens! Also, Bungee Gum has the properties of both Rubber and Gum. (Best meme of the show imo)

Also, get used to them explaining absolutely everything. Togahi is very, very meticulous.

I feel like the best way to do a HxH game would either be an EoH style game with HxH characters, or a DnD campaign, allowing you to create your own Nen powers.

I mean, for the Nen, the mafia, and narrative pusposes in you know what arc, I don't mind explanations, just the Cards from GI were kind of meaningless so most of the explanations regarding that were unnecessary.

HxH is very enjoyable to watch, there's so much people who say is overrated, but I think every good show is so praised by its fans that by logic many times is going to seem overrated. For me, I think this is one of best anime shows of all, it is my personal favorite; however, I think that the best anime I've watched is Shingeki no Kyojin.

Hisoka is a fake member, but the Troupe believe he's a real one. Like with this arm during the fight, he put fake skin on his back when he got tattooed. This allows him to remove the skin and dip whenever he wants.

So, consider nen as aura/energy. Lenses are sensitive to certain forms of energy as with light, chemical and heat energy. In real life, eagles have the ability to see chemical spectral emission from a mile away which enables them to hunt from up high because their eyes are specialized.

If u ever pop back into this older posting Ruff what made u think Killua has a bigger chance of snapping. The kid is always a sweetheart to almost everyone. Only moment I remember was the mind controller scene and the little bit where he was jealous of Gon before the tourney. Just wanted to hear ur thoughts because I remember people saying he gave off Sasuke vibes (when the show 1st aired) and that was such a bad take to me.
