I rewatched your reaction to Killua taking out those guys like 5 times, that's one of the scenes that got me super interested in this show! Episode 6 was one of my least favorites of the show, but that means it's all up-hill from here~

I love episode 7 a lot, especially in hindsight for everyone that’s rewatching. But Killua showing off his assassin abilities and him killing(?) those guys was really what sparked my love for his character, which only grew as the show went on. Also you’re still pronouncing his name slightly weirdly. It’s normally said as KILL-u-a rather than kill-U-a, but it’s not that important.

Also as far as fanservice goes, I'm pretty sure this is the only fanservice of the whole show in this episode xD I think the mangaka was just getting it out of his system so he could focus on writing an amazing story ;)

You will see enemies and villians come and go, but because our main characters aren't the typical "save the world" types, they will not stay in the story until they get defeated. This Anime is world/character building 1st. Unlike other Shonen where a hero finds a villain and the whole arc is to defeat them, then rinse and repeat. I feel like that is why a lot of people dislike the Chimera Ant arc because it's a cliche shonen arc (I still had fun though).

"A Showdown x on x the Airship" is one of my favorite HxH episodes, that's whyI really like the Hunter Exam Arc, it is a slow build up for the whole anime overall, but is so enjoyable, the Hunter Exam is very entertaining, and it plants seeds from what it s to come on the rest of the show.
