Giorno has the best and worst sides of Dio and Jonathan's personalities. He is extremely polite and has a strong sense of justice but won't hesitate to be extremely ruthless if you cross him.

The characters are less jacked as time goes on for two reasons : The in universe reason is that they don't need to be jacked anymore since fights are not physical like in part 1 or 2, everybody has a stand now. The real world reason is that Araki's art style changes with time and he is less inspired by 80's manga and movie heroes and more by fashion, models and statues from the Renaissance (like the ones from Michelangelo) As for the artstyle change, at the start of part 4, it was still like part 3, in the middle of part 4 it's the same we see in the anime and by the end of part 4 it's basically like part 5. The style of part 5 is better in the manga imo but the anime is a faithful enough adaptation. What I don't like about the anime is that sometimes they forget or change things from the manga and then people say "Araki forgot so and so" when it's the anime that made changes. Oh and it's Gold Experience, not Golden Experience but it's a common mistake don't worry :P (The name of the part is Golden Wind ;))

If you've ever seen a video of Araki drawing, he actually busts out a whole book of like greek statues to look at as reference for the bodies.

The actual anime is called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Golden Wind (or Vento Aureo), but Giorno's stand is called GOLD experience, not golden experience.

Thinking about the voice really messed with me BUT I think it’s literally as simple as that his voice sounds weird because he’s talking through 5” of glass or whatever

Hey I would like to see you react to Jojo openings and 1 second from every Jojo episodes again. Now that you understand everything it should be funny! After that you could also react to your reactions to those things now that everything makes sense! Would be supper funny.

OMG I just realized.... "if anything he might have realized his hand felt a bit heavier".... TOTAL callback to Kira Yoshikage and Sheer Heart Attack. Nice XD.

The Stand in this episode is called Black Sabbath. Polpo biting the two tips of his fingers off is a reference to the lead guitarist of the band (Tony Iommi), who lost the same middle and ring finger tips off his right hand. This lead to the groups iconic heavy metal sound.

Yeah...as another poster stated the manga's art has gradual transitions compared to the anime. In fact even Parts 1 and 2 had a modified style (which has carried over into the more recent games), Part 1 started off with a VERY different and simplistic angular look until becoming Fist of the North Star light which carried over into Part 2. The anime decided to give those parts a more 80's aesthetic while toning down the FotNS art direction while STILL looking distinctly like Araki's work. Parts 3-5 are generally more faithful to his style but what they do is adapt how those parts looked in their middle portions once Araki got comfortable drawing the characters. Late Part 4 is when we REALLY started to transition into the super model look and interesting enough the Rohan OAVs are more based in how Araki draws in Parts 7 and 8 so even their the Part 4 characters are going to look even stranger.

In the Prince album of the same name, Gold Experience, there is a song called Endorphinmachine which basically describes the power of Giorno's punches. He's filling your brain with endorphins and making you think you're filled with energy but actually just tripping.

Part 5 just assumes that you know what Stands are. You know what a Stand battle is. Anyway, here's your protag, here's your JoBros, you know how this works LET'S GO. So yea, not a great jumping on point.
