Episode 126 is honestly just perfect start to finish. Plus the fact that they include Dvorak's "New World Symphony" for the end of the fight is just *chef kiss*.

Not necessarily “good” games, but I think One Piece Round the Land and Grand Battle Rush is worth checking out, also Battle Stadium DON could be a fun way to spend your afternoon.

I'm to the point in your reaction where the rain is falling. I always saw Crocodile's defeat and the rush of sand showing that he was literally holding back the rain in Alabasta. We've seen him create entire sandstorms, so it's not impossible to believe he could spread his influence of sand over the entire country with time. So, Luffy defeating him caused his literal hold on the country to release and the rains came rushing back.

About Luffy killing, Oda has stated that Luffy is not against killing. Luffy is just somebody that won't kill most of the time because he actually finds it worse for you if he destroys your dream and makes you live with that. When you think about how Luffy and pretty much the story of One Piece is about fulfilling your dreams, it makes a lot of sense.

Crocodile had a ship constantly using Dance Powder off shore and that was stealing Alabasta's rain until Smoker stopped it. Many people miss that. It is a semi-coincidence that it started to rain after Croc was beaten.

Enies Lobby is probably where once piece became my favorite anime, and has one of my personal all time favorite scenes. Cant wait for Ruff to get to it :)

There's a couple fun fighting games, and the Pirate Warriors games are fun if you like that style of game (same as Dynasty Warriors, Hyrule Warriors, etc). But the best I've found is definitely One Piece Unlimited World Red. It's on the Switch and has an original story that from what I've heard, Oda himself consulted on. HOWEVER, you cannot play it for a long time, as it contains massive spoilers for MUCH MUCH later in the series, unfortunately (characters, arcs, MASSIVE plot points, & other such spoilers). But it IS really good, so maybe an idea for when you do get caught up. The only game I could recommend for where you're at that I find good is Grand Battle, a fighting game for the PS2 and Gamecube that goes up to the Alabasta Arc.

on official subs? They probably tone it down a bit, yea. Especially on a line where it carries the same meaning either way. Fan translations that go real heavy on swears feel just as off to me, tbh.

of all those Dynasty Warriors spin-off games, that thing where throwing a punch launches dozens of dudes in the air actually matches the One Piece tone better than any other franchise.

From what I remember no, Also I don't think that thing about oda's aunt is true as I've never heard it there is a rumor about why Pel didn't die but it's not that.

I really, really loved the newest One Piece game, World Seeker. It's actually closer to an open-world structure than the previous games. The story is actually pretty good (Oda was directly involved), and the dialogue is incredibly in character and hilarious. Lots of character spoilers though, so I'd wait for a while to play it! The main game you just play as Luffy, but there is also a DLC which adds storylines for 3 other characters who I will not name :D
