Figured I’d squeeze out one last Pumpkin variant too.

I liked the idea of Melanie sitting on the couch after a big meal, suddenly experiencing some kind of adverse swelling scenario, & beyond asking if the pie was made any differently (& I’ll leave it up to you whether or not her host is messing with her), being entirely nonplused about the whole situation, since she is such a seasoned vet with this kind of thing. Even if this is probably her first time ever as a pumpkin specifically. Whatever it is, she‘ll deal.
