Sorry for the brief delay & slightly goofy upload. Wanted to have it up by the 3rd, but wasn’t going to have all the small variant versions saved out by midnight proper. So I uploaded a quick version before versioning it out. Apologies if it led to two emails on your end.

Anyway this series is officially crossed off the list! Happy with it, but mostly just glad it’s over. But I do want to do more sequences like this in the future. I will be posting one more follow up with like all of the parts in one, along with maybe the first & last together.

In my very first post in this series, I was playing kind of coy with who this woman actually was. I dunno. I thought with all the tropes & hallmarks it would’ve been more apparent but I’ve had a couple people try to guess or ask her name?

It’ll probably seem incredibly anticlimactic now, so part of me mostly just wants to keep it a mystery. So if you don’t want to know, skip the rest of this paragraph. LoL But if you really must know, she started out as my own version of an adult, modernized-but-still-vaguely-throwback 70’s Violet. Heck, I thought the name of the series, the Grandpa Joe line, would’ve been the clue that gave it away. Typically, I don’t feel like I do as much of the sort of bar-for-bar Wonka stuff like many other blueberry artists out there. While I might borrow some of the tropes a little here or there, I usually try to do my own thing with blueberries, or focus on another distinct aspect than ‘factory>brat>gum>blue nose>’I feel funny’>10ft across’ So this was the one time where I figured I’d give a Violet sequence whirl, albeit tweaked a bit.

While I might try to do a lil something for the fourth tomorrow, maybe, the next piece of art I’m looking to throw up is a Pumpkin Spice comic page. But I have also been getting hit with writing inspiration. So we shall see. But I feel pretty confident since I posted the roadmap halfway through last month, hit my goals, & now have roughly the same number to hit this full month. But stay tuned.

This was one of my fav sequences by you! I knew she would come around by the end and be polite. I love how you made her speech all influenced by her swelling and how her hands and face looks. While I don't like popping I gotta say the fear of it matches the wonka 70's vibe. Just hope she makes it to the juicing room in time haha
