Dear Patrons:

With the heat of summer behind us (at least for most of us), we've officially entered the perfect time of year for weight-gain enthusiasts--when colder weather and a relentless series of holiday treats and feasts can transform the hardened gym rat into a flabby tabby.  It's a scary proposition for most non-feedee folks, which is why Halloween, in particular, makes a compelling backdrop for the darker fiction you'll find here at Mavrip.  With that in mind, we're concocting some seasonal treats for you to devour!

*First of all, we hope you enjoyed Riptoryx's epic (70+ pages!) behind-the-scenes look at the illustrations for "The Tutor," the second installment of our One Night Adventures series.  The game is, by far, our most monumental project to date.  In addition to the writing process, which included a novel's-worth of passages made even more daunting by the fussy Twine format, there was a great deal of correspondence and coordination necessary to piecemeal the game's various elements together.  Riptoryx did an excellent job in that regard, and his back-and-forth with SilverPathfinder provides an interesting glimpse into the creative process and makes for a nice time capsule for the game in general.  I will be compiling something similar (though much shorter!) regarding my correspondence with MonoManiac on his cover design and the inspiration for Shelby's appearance.  Stay tuned!

*Sorry for the delay in releasing the next installment of The Harem on the Hill.  (I wanted to give Riptoryx's behind-the-scenes extravaganza a little breathing room.)  The good news is, another choice-filled chapter is "in the can" and will be released in a few days.  I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say your newest concubine, Bernadette, may have picked up a few bad habits from your OG harem girl, Tina.  Regardless, you're going to have some "weighty" issues to deal with!

*Also nearing release is the second prequel vignette for "The Tutor."  This seasonal scene will delve deeper into an event alluded to in-game--something that played a major role in Shelby developing some "major rolls," but was never fully explained or explored.  (Thanks to Riptoryx for his suggestion that the scenario be expanded upon.)  In honor of Halloween, there will be some devilish touches to this one I think you'll enjoy!
