Attached is a roughly 70-page document showcasing concept framing, line art drafts, revision commentary, and final versions for the various in-game illustrations commissioned to accompany "One Night Adventure: The Tutor."

Bringing commissioned works from concept to completion can be a complex collaborative process. We've discussed the issue before. If that creative process interests you, or if you'd just like to see some (slightly to substantially) different versions of the illustrations (all of which SilverPathfinder has posted on her DeviantArt page), then this may be worth a look.

Thanks for sharing this. Typically all you get to see as a reader is a finished and polished product. Ever since I attempted to dabble in writing myself, I have always been fascinated in seeing behind the scenes at the different processes that people use to develop their creative products.

You bet, Alaxar! Your reaction is exactly the kind I'd hoped for as I was piecing all this together. Naturally, a lot of the process winds of being shaped by the styles and personalities of the folks involved. In my experience, Silv has been great work with on commissions. She seems to very much appreciate (and use) the detailed context Mav and I provide while also still leveraging her own creative vision to flesh out a completed image that fits in as one piece of a larger collection. -Riptoryx
