Year-End Lessons... (Patreon)

Happy Holidays! We hope everyone is having a safe and festive season and, to the extent that it’s possible, spending quality time with friends and loved ones. Of course, you’re part of our family here at Mavrip, so if you’re unable to celebrate with your own, please hang out with us for some fattening New Years’ festivities!

I had hoped these festivities would include a new chapter of THOTH and a playable demo of my new One Night Adventure game. Unfortunately, the new chapter isn’t quite finished and the game still needs some polishing.  (Riptoryx is busy proofing it at present.) So instead I’d like to put a bow on 2021 and our 25th Anniversary celebration of “The Lesson” with some never-before-seen story illustrations composed by the mighty Magmaman!

As you probably know, Magma was our original choice to illustrate the anniversary edition of my seminal weight-gain tale; however, he had to bow out, unfortunately. These things happen and there is no ill-will. (In fact, I will be using Magma’s artwork as the basis for a new story in 2022!) The silver lining, literally, is that we established a great relationship with Silver Pathfinder, who did an excellent job filling in and with whom we also plan to work again (perhaps sooner than you expect!).

Although Magma didn’t get the chance to fully “flesh out” Susan’s character, I think you’ll agree from these trial proofs that he would have done an awesome job. If he ever gets inspired to continue we will gladly produce a deluxe edition for you in the future!
